A Dental Practice That Sees the Whole You
More Than a Cleaning and Checkup
Your first visit with Dr. Bob is a Comprehensive Exam — what we call your Healthy Mouth Baseline. We're looking at the whole picture: blood pressure, medical and sleep history, airway, gums, jaw, bite, how you're breathing. Most people leave their first visit amazed at how in-depth we go compared to what they're used to. We're more than "Gum Gardeners" — we're part of your healthcare team.
Technology With a Purpose
Greater comfort. Greater diagnostics. Greater precision. That's the bar every tool in our office has to clear. Dr. Bob brought CEREC same-day crowns to Newtown in 2009, one of the first in the area — no temporaries, no goopy impressions, your crown designed and placed in a single visit. The same standard guides our 3D cone-beam imaging, our soft tissue laser, and our at-home sleep ring that's 98% as accurate as a sleep lab. Staying current takes commitment, and that we are.
Complete Health Dentistry
What happens in your mouth doesn't stay in your mouth. Dr. Lantzy connects the dots between oral health and your heart, brain, sleep, and overall wellness, and brings that knowledge to every appointment. A good day is saving somebody's smile. A great day is saving somebody's life.
One-on-One, Every Time
Dr. Bob doesn't rush. He gives you his full attention — especially when meeting someone new — and works alongside our highly-trained team to deliver care that's thorough, never assembly-line. You'll be known by name. And once we've gotten to know each other, don't be surprised if you get a hug on your way out the door.

Built in Newtown. Built Together.
Dr. Bob and Marg Lantzy met in the cafeteria at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He was in dental school. She was in dental hygiene. They would have talks about the kind of practice they wanted to build one day: welcoming, patient-first, focused on health that goes beyond the tooth. A place that would provide an exceptional wellness experience that would improve the lives of patients entrusted to their care. They wanted leading edge technologies and great organization.
That practice became Robert A. Lantzy, DMD, LLC, right here in Newtown, Bucks County. They've been here ever since — treating grandchildren of original patients, staying rooted in this community, and continuing to learn. It's been their home, and yours, ever since.
Welcome to Your New Dental Home
A home-like atmosphere, pillows and blankets, and a massage chair to relax you during longer treatments — it's all intentional. When we dreamed about opening our own practice, we wanted it to be a welcoming place, knowing that dentistry had a fearful history.
We designed this office to feel less like a dental practice and more like coming over to our house. It's a friendly atmosphere where you'll come to feel relaxed while simultaneously becoming healthier. Every morning the team huddles to review the schedule, so by the time you arrive, we're ready for you.
Welcoming New Patients in Newtown,

What Our Patients Are Saying
We've been grateful to serve generations of families across Bucks County. We're even more grateful when they share their experience.
More Than Cleanings.
More Than Checkups.
From your first cleaning to complex airway treatment, every service we offer is built with your whole well-being in mind.

The Mouth-Body Connection — Lantzy DMD Blog
Dementia prevention. Sleep apnea. Why your child's behavior might be a breathing problem. Dr. Bob writes about the things most dentists don't, because he believes patients deserve to understand what's really going on.
