Robert A. Lantzy, DMD — Lead Dentist

Robert Lantzy graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1982, completing his undergraduate studies with Summa Cum Laude honors from the same university. He has always been an achiever and a hard worker, very grounded in his values, committed to doing the right thing, and passionate about the lasting relationships he builds with every patient he sees.

The field of dentistry is ever-changing, and Dr. Lantzy has never stopped learning. He was one of the first dentists in the Newtown area to offer CEREC same-day crown technology, beginning in 2009. His post-graduate education includes training at the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies, The Spear Institute, the VIVOS Airway Institute, and certification in the Dale Bredesen Protocol for the prevention and reversal of cognitive decline. He stopped placing mercury fillings over 35 years ago and holds certification in their safe removal today.

When restoring smiles to natural beauty, Dr. Lantzy takes a complete health approach, considering the benefits of overall wellness during every step of the process. The end result is a well-planned approach to lasting, beautiful smiles that supports greater health. He is certified to perform Ring Home Sleep Tests, oral appliance therapy, clear aligner orthodontics, implant restorations from single unit to full mouth, cosmetic veneers and bonding, and CEREC computer-aided single-visit porcelain restorations.

Dr. Bob served as Newtown Rotary Club President in 2008 and volunteered his services in a Mission of Mercy outreach. Outside the office, he stays active through gardening, canoeing, camping, fishing, hunting, biking, and spending time with family. Grandkids especially. He completed a century ride from New York City to Montauk and has supported the MS Ride, the Black Tie Tour, and the Spokes for Hope Tour. Thriving, not just surviving, is his motto.

Marguerite Lantzy — Team Lead

Marg has been part of this practice from the very beginning, building it from scratch alongside Dr. Bob. A Cum Laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, she has held her Registered Dental Hygienist license since 1980 and her Bachelor of Science in Health Administration since 1981 (and yes, that's where she and Dr. Bob first met).

She built the practice's first non-surgical periodontal program and helped shape its whole-health approach. From head, neck, and oral cancer screenings to full periodontal charting at every visit that leads to individualized home care coaching, the importance of giving the hygiene team autonomy for each patient was established. Though she's not the hygienist you'll see at appointments these days, she's still a part of the team keeping standards high.

Before working here full time, Marg spent six years in the fashion industry as a couture runway and fit model for several high‑fashion houses. Her love for fabrics, patterns, and design is reflected throughout the office, especially in the way she decorates the space to feel like home through the changing seasons. She also worked in restaurants, where her love of making people feel at ease first took root. That same instinct guides her today, and she looks forward to welcoming you into the practice.

Our Team

Marcie at Robert A. Lantzy DMD, LLC in Newtown, PA

Marcie — Registered Dental Hygienist & Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist

Marcie is one of those rare hygienists who went further. In addition to exceptional preventive care, she's trained in orofacial myofunctional therapy, working with the muscles of the mouth, tongue, and face to function the way they're designed to. If you or your child has been struggling with breathing, sleep, speech, or posture, Marcie is often the first to notice. She has a quiet way of creating calm even in the most restless young patients.

Jennifer G. — Registered Dental Hygienist

Jennifer thinks of her role as a coach — helping patients take care of their dental health and their overall health. She holds an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene and a Local Anesthesia License, and spent seven years as a dental assistant before becoming a hygienist. Straight out of high school, she served in the Marine Corps — which she credits with shaping her discipline and work ethic. Outside the office, she's a true bookworm, a licensed realtor, and you'll often find her hiking with her husband and dog.

Jen at Robert A. Lantzy DMD, LLC in Newtown, PA

Jen — Expanded Function Dental Assistant

Jen has been with Dr. Bob for 27 years. As an Expanded Function Dental Assistant, she's certified to place tooth-colored fillings alongside her full clinical role — which is exactly why the team calls dental assistants "Ninjas." Her skill, loyalty, and experience are a cornerstone of the practice, and patients who've been coming for decades know Jen as a steady, reassuring presence.

Debbie — Director of First Impressions

Debbie is the first voice you'll hear when you call and the first face you'll see when you arrive. Her title is intentional. Every morning she's reviewing who's coming in, so by the time you walk through the door, she already knows a little about you. Debbie began her career as a dental assistant and also holds a dental radiology certification, giving her both clinical and patient care experience. She's passionate about creating a welcoming, comfortable, and positive experience for every patient and family we serve, and has a gift for helping patients feel at ease. Outside of the office, Debbie enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Brittany at Robert A. Lantzy DMD, LLC in Newtown, PA

Brittany — Insurance & Treatment Coordinator

Brittany helps patients understand their costs and dental benefits before any care is scheduled. After your exam, she'll go over what's been recommended and walk you through your options at your own pace. With a decade in the dental field, she's good at making this part feel clear instead of confusing — and her goal is for you to always know your fees before any services are scheduled. Outside the office, you'll find her with family and friends, traveling, working out, or reading.

Samantha — Dental Assistant

Samantha is a Ninja who often sits in with Dr. Bob during New Patient visits. She helps get you settled, takes care of the prep work, and stays in the room to assist Dr. Bob through the visit. Organized and sweet in equal measure — exactly who you want next to you on day one.
