Giving Back to the Community We Call Home
In 1998, science confirmed the link between gum disease and heart illness. We laminated that newspaper story and hung it in our office for many years. It’s a good picture of how we've always thought about dentistry — not just as a service, but as a responsibility to the community around us.
For over 40 years, Dr. Bob and Marg Lantzy have been part of Newtown and Bucks County in ways that go well beyond the dental chair. Here is some of what we have been proud to do together.
Mission of Mercy
Dr. Bob and Marg have volunteered in Mission of Mercy events, providing free dental care to underserved community members who otherwise have no access to treatment. It is one of the most direct ways dentistry can change a life.
Children's Dental Health Month
For many years, we spent every February going out into local schools and community groups to teach children about dental health. Over the years, those visits brought many young families into the practice and a lot of good habits into Bucks County homes.
American Heart Association & Breast Cancer Awareness
We have participated in charity events supporting the American Heart Association and Breast Cancer Awareness, causes that align directly with our belief that overall health begins in the mouth. The connection between the mouth and the heart is something we talk about every single day.
Charity Bike Rides
Dr. Bob has supported causes through cycling, including the MS Ride, the Riders for a Cause Black Tie Tour, and the Spokes for Hope Tour. He completed a century ride from New York City to Montauk. He keeps riding.
Community Education & the Say Ahh Event
In partnership with Next Level Practice, we hosted a community education event at a local movie theater focused on preventive health and the mouth-body connection. Being a part of the community has always been part of who we are, from the early campfire events and school visits to the holiday gift drives we still host today as a drop-off location for children's gifts each Christmas.
Newtown Rotary Club
Dr. Bob served as Newtown Rotary Club President in 2008. He joined because he lives here and cares about this town — the same reason he's been going into schools, hosting holiday gift drives, and showing up at community events for over 40 years.
Our team's vision is to coach our patients toward improving their quality of life through Complete Health Dentistry.
