Robert A. Lantzy, DMD

Dr. Robert Lantzy graduated from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Dental Medicine in 1982. He is grounded in his values and believes in doing the right thing, the first time.  He values lasting relationships.

With healthcare ever changing, he enjoys staying abreast of the latest science and technologies. He is committed to providing the latest of what complete health dentistry has to offer for the entire family.

When restoring smiles to natural beauty, his complete health approach considers the benefits of overall health during the process. For example, placing mercury amalgams is not in his repertoire of services. He does practice the Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique. He restores Implants from Single units to Complete Dentures.  Cosmetically, he restores aesthetics with Cosmetic Veneers, Bonding, and CEREC Computer Aided Design and Milling. The end result of care with Dr Lantzy is a well-planned out approach to a lasting and beautiful smile within the consideration of overall health.

The practice offers services like FDA cleared Ring Home Sleep Study in conjunction with a sleep physician for diagnosis, when there is concern for an airway disorder. The Ring provides 98% accuracy and in the comfort of your own home. For the patient that cannot tolerate the CPAP, there is a wide array of appliances offered through dentistry to help patients who want a non-surgical option.

Desiring prevention from airway related issues for children, Dr. Bob is trained in Pediatric Dental Guided Growth and Development Therapy.  He’s very proud of Marcie Lear, RDH, who completed certification for becoming an Oromyofunctional Therapist earlier in 2023. Working with a myofunctional therapist alone will improve airway strength by 50% for adults and 65% for children.

Dr. Lantzy leads a team of caring professionals, providing a wide array of proactive, health oriented services. He would like people to have a long health span that will match their life span –Thriving, not just surviving, is his motto!
